ACCENTURE, SONOCO and WHARTON BUSINESS SCHOOL

A group of Bryn Mawr Alumnae, currently working at some of Philadelphia’s most prominent companies, presented their perspectives on “Life-post-BMC”, as well as discussed the invaluable experience they had while at Bryn Mawr and how their college experience truly paved their paths to success.
Accenture: 4 recent graduates of Bryn Mawr presented the business strategies and structural breakdown of one of the largest consulting firms in the world.
Sunoco: a Bryn Mawr alumnus (along with 2 of her colleagues) discussed the business principles of a Fortune 500 company, along with some valuable insight stemming from a long line of success and accomplishments throughout her post-college career.
Wharton School of Business (at UPenn): the Director of Admissions, as well as 3 current MBA students (one of whom was a Mawrtyr!). The women shared with us their experiences, as well as their reasons for choosing Wharton over other business schools, and provided us with some helpful advice in regards to applying to, and attending, business school.

From the Bi-Co to Wall Street: Being a Woman in Finance
Monday, November 23rd, BMC, Dorothy Vernon Room in Haffner Hall, 6:30pm
Bryn Mawr alumnae Jamie Higgins ’98 (Vice President, Goldman Sachs) and Megan Rowley ’08 (Analyst, Goldman Sachs) will discuss their experiences as women on Wall Street, respective career paths, and how Bryn Mawr helped to prepare them for a career in finance. They will also take questions on Goldman Sachs’ summer internship program and how best to approach the application process.
All BMC and HC students (including men) are welcome!!
